ABOUT THE FOUNDER/DIRECTOR

A Public Service Commission (PSC) Overseas-specialist Scholar, Huan graduated with a 1st class Honours (Music) from University of Birmingham (UK).
Having won a few National Arts Council competitions since age of 11, he has performed in prestigious music festivals in London, Sydney, Tokyo and Kirishima where he was awarded the Top 10 Most Outstanding Performer prize. He then toured with Asian Youth Orchestra to US and Hawaii in 1999. He then made his solo concerto debut in UK at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall (2003) playing Brahms Violin Concerto.
For his illustrious decade back here, he has made his solo concerto debut at Esplanade premiering John Adams Violin Concerto with Singapore Symphony Orchestra (2004), given the duties of concertmaster notably to Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra and Orchestra of the Music Makers and helped organised and recorded a couple of soundtracks for films and artists of various genres.
Huan was also the soloist/leader for numerous musicals at Esplanade, MBS and Capitol Theatre. He now holds position as Head of Strings at Australian International School (Singapore). In 2017 he started his own company, Harmony Studio to manage photography projects and artiste management.
